Starman or Bat wars? ~ Fun times with Lego!!

Hi guys! So today I asked my younger bro if i could borrow some of his lego figures to take some photos of whilst my family went for our Sunday stroll :) Fancy I know!! Tehe I'm joking ;-) I had a ton of fun with these photos, I was giggling the whole time thinking of weird and crazy captions to put with them >.<
"Toadstools and Stormtroopers! Perf combo!"

Batman & Joker epic chase!
"Where were you back there Robin? I could've used you."
"I was..Ugh..I.. Ummm.."
"Excuses, excuses"
What's wrong with this picture?
Haha! I found you first!
No I found you first!!
OK so I think my mum is awesome! I'm just going to say it :) Whenever I'm out and about taking photos my mum will come along and say: "Oh Lydia you should..." And she'll grab some of my toys and place them in the wackiest places and then I'll snap some shots of them. Here is an example of this, my mum and I spent about 5 minutes wedging these lego figures into the gaps of bark in a tree, and that is how i got the 2 prev. photos!! :) Hope you liked that fun little story in the middle of the photoshoot!
Here are all the figures we put in the tree.
What's up!
Where's Batman when I need him?
After a days work, it's time for a break!

It was so much fun mixing Star Wars figures with some Batman figures :) This is what I love about toy photography, you can have so much being as crazy and creative as you want! There are no rules!! Whelp, hope you guys have a fab weekend! It's a public holiday tomorrow (Because of ANZAC Day) So no school for me!!! YAS!!! ^.^

ANZAC DAY (100th anniversary)

Hello Everyone! Today is a very special day for many New Zealanders and Australians. Today marks the 100th anniversary of our troops landing on the Gallipoli Peninsula in World War 1. Every year on the 25th of April people across the country commemorate all the soldiers that died and honour the servicemen and women who returned :) It's a huge part of NZ culture and a day of deep respect :-)
As part of ANZAC Day we wear red poppies, sometimes pinned on our clothes or I just put mine in my hair cos I'm fabulous >.<
Here's a beautiful poem written by Major John McCrae in World War 1 after the death of his friend and fellow solider Alexis Helmer.

In Flanders Fields
By John McCrae
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row by row,

That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields

Take up your quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

So I hope you all had a great day! I sung with my school choir at an ANZAC ceremony which was pretty fun :) It was the first time I went to an actual ANZAC ceremony so that was cool ;) Also I had Indian Takeout with my parents! Yum! I don't know why you needed to know that but you do now, so cheers to Indian Takeout!! ^.^ Until next time, farewell :P

A photo shoot with isabelle

Well I took this photos like 2 weeks ago. It was quite funny because my family were having a cricket game right behind me, so whilst trying to dodge cricket balls and not be trampled by someone I took these pics ^.^

1 year Blogiversary!!!

Whoa.. Just whoa. A whole year ago, 365 days, 525,949 minutes ago.. I set up this blog and haven't regretted a single moment of it! I've made friends, improved my photography skills and had a flipping awesome time!
AGfernfriends has been a huge part of my life this past year. It's fired my passion for toys, dolls and photography immensely. I've discovered so many new toy brands and doll lines and made some fabulous friends!
It's been a bit of a journey. My courage has grown, from telling my friends about my little obsession of toys, to taking photos in public places. It's has been SO. MUCH. FUN!!! I cannot wait for more years to come!!
Thanks guys for an awesome year!!! And also for 27 followers!! Yeah!!!! >.<
