4th of July in New Zealand :-)

Happy 4th of July everyone! I know that if you live in the USA you will probably be celebrating this awesome holiday, and even if you aren't in the US you may be having a nice picnic or whatever you do on the 4th of July! We sadly don't celebrate it in New Zealand :( But I personally did, I wore a flag (the one that actually in these photos) in my ponytail because I'm weird like that! >.<  These pics didn't turn out as I had planned they would but I kinda of like them, the lightning was really fun to play with. Hope you like :D

And we have Captain American in his patriotic glory :-) I actually got him from a Kinder Egg Surprise! Sorry I just had to bring him along! He's the most colour co-ordinated toy I have for this occasion!
And here is a picture of the flag. I can't tell it this picture is like good or not? It's really weird but..Meh! Also this flag is actually from the USA!! My friend went over there and she brought it back for me!! She knows that I love America!!

Whelp that's it! I hope you all have an awesome day and an fabulous holiday! It's the first day of my winter 2 week school holidays!! Hallelujah!!!!! >.<

  1. Storm Trooper and Top Hat Guy sitting on the flag are my favorite. You're a great photographer! when I try to take pictures of legos they always come out shadowy.
    Happy 4th of July!

    1. Haha thanks Gwen! Yeah sometimes when I'm taking pictures of lego figures they will come out shadowy or they are too small for my camera to focus on!! That's annoying! But then when i take some funny or awesome pics with them, it's worth all that annoying trouble :-)

  2. Happy New Zealand 4th of July!! XD
It's kind of funny to hear someone say that they love American stuff and don't even live there, LOL. People over here always say the same thing about England or Ireland or whatever. ;)
Congrats about your 2-week break! Just out of curiosity, what's the weather like in New Zealand this time of year? Is it super cold or not really that cold?

    1. Hehe thanks Sunny! Yes my friends think it's funny too! But I think that's like why i love it so much! Because I've never been there but I can just dream and go crazy over it! Ok that sounded weird but I don't know how to word it.. Yeah..
Ah I'm so pumped for the 2 week holiday!! And well it's obviously colder than it would be in summer because it's winter. (Good job lydia. yes it's colder in winter!) But where I live, it's cold but not snow worthy cold... But then where my brother is attending university way down at the bottom of the south island it's super cold and snowing :) But where I live it's tolerable >.< We just have to wear a few extra layers!

  3. Oh, and in case you're wondering, where I live right now it's in the 70s (which would be 20s in Celsius). :D Jealous? XD

    1. Mmm that's pretty warm, i think right?! I'm rubbish when it comes to temperatures!! >.< Well around here it normally stays around 10 in celsius. but yesterday it was quite warm and was like 13! I'm a little bit jealous because we can't go swimming in rivers right now because it's just too cold :( But i like winter because we aren't all sweating like crazy and having to sit in the shade!!! Hahaha it's a either way situation :-)
